Warm Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ!

It gives us immense pleasure to introduce the pioneer monthly English News “The Christian Observer” (TCO) (for private circulation) in India to you.

Why was it started?
There have been a number of programs organised by many Churches /Christian organisations in the past in our City and the rest of India for our spiritual growth. Many of us are not even aware of such programs. Thus the TCO was started with prayer in the month of December 2000 for the city of Mumbai & Navi Mumbai to bring in Christian News to the door step of every Christian. With God’s grace, the TCO has completed 10 years this December 2010 with a circulation of over 25000. The TCO is distributed free of cost to almost all Churches & Christian organisations. So far it has been supported by Christian business men who put in their advertisements for a nominal price.

The Aim of TCO is to:
Cover every Christian news all over India / Bridge the gap between Churches/Christian organisations and the Christian homes / Spread God's word to every home /individual / Let Christians know of how the Lord is using every Church/Christian Organisation / Give a platform to every Christian businessman / Christian service / To assist Churches / Christian Organisations in working together

TCO has also made its goal and mission to support work going on for special children, rehabilitation of Slum children, building of a Hospice foe HIV & Aids patients along with terminally ill patients too. It has also brought together NGOs manufacturing products by rural women through various programs to help them raise finance.

The Vision of TCO:
Is to reach out to every Christian home in India (in every language possible) and the rest of the world that we may together praise God for His wondrous work and pray for one another at a time when we require it the most.

The SMS Ministry:
Knowing that the time is short and we need to reach as many people as possible, we started an SMS service called TCONEWS – through which we send Bible verses, news, views, etc on a daily basis. This services was started in May 2009 and the Lord has been gracious enough to enable us to complete 16 months. We are able to send lakhs of sms all over India (Some of our friends too are receiving it). This too is a service which we have now started giving freely.
